
Terms & Conditions
1. A 25% deposit is required to secure your date of booking. Please note this is a non-refundable deposit as we do not accept any other bookings for the same date.
2. Full payment must be received 14 days prior to your event. The hirer must pay the total charges (rental fee/bond) 14 days prior to the delivery of The Keg Collective Tap Trailer.
3. Quotations are valid for 30 days from date of issue and are subject to change after this.
4. Should payment not be received 14 days prior to your event and with no cancellation - The Keg Collective reserves the right to cancel your booking with no refund of deposit.
5. Bar hire price is soley the hirage of The Keg Collective and does not include beverages. We recommend you order direct from our trusted suppliers.
6. A bond of $750.00 must be secured 14 days prior to event to cover any damages, loss claims/excess or extra cleaning relating to the hirage. This will be added to the hire charge and will be fully refunded to the hirer if equipment is returned with no damage or loss. Any breakages/loss to glassware $4.00 for each per glass will be deducted from your bond.
7. If The Keg Collective Tap Trailer is hired for overnight use, collection time the following morning must be between 8.00am - 10.00am unless arranged otherwise. If you are wanting to make use of The Keg Collective Tap Trailer the following day additional fees may apply. A $200.00 per hour charge is applicable if you choose to go over and above the agreed hire time.
8. Hirer must organize clear access to their event on The Keg Collective's behalf prior to start time of event to ensure we can provide the required equipment within a timely manner. Please allow enough space for The Keg Collective Tap Trailer (900mm wide, 3.2m long, 2.7m height) and a flat surface for The Keg Collective to be placed. 9. The hirer shall ensure sufficient time is available for The Keg Collective to access the venue prior to the event to unload and prepare equipment. The hirer shall also ensure sufficient time between closing/pack down and having to vacate the venue to enable all equipment to be dismantled, removed and loaded into awaiting vehicles. Allow 2 hours for setup and pack down.
10. A milage fee charge may be incurred for events outside of the catchment area covered. This will be discussed and agreed upon when arranging your booking. We charge a $1.25 per km extra fee will apply.
11. If hirer wishes to organize their own kegs rather than use our recommended suppliers this must be discussed and notified as The Keg Collective provides the Keg pickups / returns. Kegs fittings and lines will also need to work with The Keg Collective's system. The hirer must state every type of alcohol and keg type you would like to use so we can ensure a smooth-running system.
12. The hirer is wholly responsible and must take reasonable care of the equipment and must not deliberately damage, tamper, mistreat or attempt to repair the equipment in any way.
13. The Keg Collective cannot accept responsibly for any damage to person or property of injury caused by the items/equipment which are under the hirer's responsibility or any liability for any claims that may occur from any event concerning or involving the items/equipment hired by The Keg Collective.
14. If the equipment is to be found faulty by the hirer, The Keg Collective must be notified immediately. The Keg Collective has the right to either cease hire, replace or repair any defects that may arise including breakdowns or mistreatment of the hired equipment.
15. All alcohol will be invoiced directly from The Keg Collective's recommended suppliers and it will be the hirers responsibility to ensure adherence to all the necessary licensing requirements.
16. During setup of The Keg Collective Tap Trailer, we do require to prime/test each dispensing tap to make sure all running smoothly and ready for your enjoyment.
17. The amount of alcohol you order/require is soley the hirers responsibility. The Keg Collective can only recommend the ratio of glasses per keg. Any leftover alcohol we can pour off into 1.5L Flagons at an extra cost of $3.50 each - otherwise the kegs get returned to their suppliers.
18. The Keg Collective Tap Trailer will be locked at all times during your event due to health and safety regulations. If an instance occurs that requires access into The Keg Collective Tap Trailer, we must be notified as only staff are permitted inside. Eg, changeover of kegs etc...
19. The Keg Collective Tap Trailer has 1x security camera, locked inside the trailer facing the kegs. At no point is anyone other than staff allowed to enter the trailer.
20. The Keg Collective reserves the right to cancel any booking due to mistreatment of the tap trailer and in this instance, the hirer will forfeit their bond.
Liquor Licensing Responsibility
The Keg Collective provides mobile bar equipment hire only. We do not sell, supply, or serve alcohol under any circumstances. The hirer is solely responsible for obtaining any necessary liquor licenses or permits required for their event and for ensuring all alcohol service complies with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.
The hirer agrees that:

The Keg Collective is not responsible for any breach of liquor laws arising from the service or consumption of alcohol at the event.

Alcohol must not be sold, supplied, or served to minors or intoxicated persons.

If alcohol is to be sold or supplied to the public, the hirer must hold a valid Special License or operate under an existing On-License.

The Keg Collective supplies equipment (including taps, kegs, gas bottles, and refrigeration units) for hire only and does not provide alcohol.

The hirer is responsible for the safe and lawful operation of the bar area, including supervision of guests using self-pour taps.
